We want you to tell your story…
Here at Military Forums we want to know more about you.
Do you fancy telling your story; it may be about your life in the services past or present or a full account of your training to help others.
We also want to know how the information from other members helped you join, get trained and prepare you for the services.
Do you want to keep an account of your training diary and tell others about your experiences by blogging here at Military Forums when possible?
Are you currently serving and wish to blog to others on current affairs, morale and life as it is in the field etc?
We want to hear from you, so please drop us a line and get in touch.
http://www.militaryforums.co.uk/contact.php and choose the subject ‘Get Involved’.
Many thanks and we hope to hear from you soon!
Note: blogged, blogging, blogs.
To write entries in, add material to, or maintain a weblog.

During the late hours of Friday and early hours of Saturday, we were in the process of moving/relocating our servers and hardware equipment. (A last moment decision)
We are now operating from a different location and this is why we were offline for 24/48hrs while the internet resolves our new location (to put in simple terms).
We are also operating from a new server which our last had hardware failures.
All has gone successful and we hope for no more interruptions.
We are also running on our own network subnet which means if someone else gets attacked, this will not cause us a problem and we will continue to run a smooth service.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused to your cyber and virtual social life while we were offline. All can now be resumed.
After a few sleepless nites and plenty of hardwork and the bottle of scotch is empty its time for me to rest.

Apologies for loss of service once again.
We have been suffering severe downtime due to one of our servers having faulty hardware.
We are currently in the process of setting up a new server to host Military Forums & Military Fitness & Training.
And we will be operating on a higher specification server and hope to offer a smoother services to all along with running out of a new network.
There will be further downtime to come as we make the move, so please expect no services for at least 24/48hrs while the domain names resolve to our new server.
More information to follow shortly to let you know when this will take place.
Thanks for your patience.

As you are all aware or this note is to make some members aware that operations and deployments, in particular Iraq, are attracting great media attention and speculation.
Remember to take extra caution and care when posting on this public forum that you do not post sensitive or classified information that is not otherwise in the public domain.
The Moderators of this forum will immediately remove or edit posts deemed to contain or hint at information which is sensitive or classified in any way to current operations.
The decision of the Modertors is final and while the current political and operational circumstances remain at their current levels, the Moderators will be taking extra steps to ensure that operational security (OpSec) is not compromised and your account maybe removed.

Seems like another year has come and gone, once again thanks for all your support over the years. We wouldn't be where we are now... can anyone tell me where exactly?
Pull up a sandbag, grab a space next to the open fire, munch on a mince pie, take a tot and be merry. :drinking:
Most importantly, please no Drinking & Driving chaps.
We all know it can easily be done, stay safe and be well.
We all hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Best Wishes,
From the Boss & Moderators.
